Find your healthy weight range based on height and body frame — using four validated medical formulas.
All formulas give estimates. Healthy weight varies by muscle mass, bone density, and individual physiology.
Multiple medical formulas estimate ideal body weight for women. The Robinson formula (1983) uses height above 5 feet as a baseline. The Hamwi formula allows adjustments for body frame size. The BMI method calculates the weight range that corresponds to a BMI of 18.5–24.9.
Each formula was developed in different populations and eras. None accounts for muscle mass or athletic build. Use the range as a guide, not a strict target — how you feel, your energy levels, and lab markers matter more than a number on a scale.
